This loan was very complicated and took several months to close. We had a borrower with multiple sources of income, a property that had a LA-Retrofit lien on under the new Soft-Story program, and delinquent property taxes. Although we were able to get through the structuring of the income and delinquent property taxes, the lien on title made the loan nearly impossible to close under a conventional loan program. We were able to work with our relationship funds in NY, get them title insurance coverage, and close. A TRUE JDM HIGHLIGHT DEAL!
